Stunning 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback – Show-Quality Rotisserie Restoration
This is without question one of the finest 1967 Mustang Fastback restorations we’ve ever come across. Originally manufactured in California, this classic has spent the majority of its life in the dry climates of California and Texas—ideal conditions for preserving its body integrity.
The previous owner invested over three years and more than $70,000 (with receipts) into a meticulous, no-expense-spared rotisserie restoration. The car was completely stripped down to bare metal and media blasted, revealing only minimal rust limited to the front floor pans, which were professionally cut out and replaced. The rocker panels and the rest of the body were in exceptional condition. The result? A laser-straight body finished in a flawless show-quality paint job—truly a 10 out of 10. No fisheyes, no block marks—just immaculate craftsmanship throughout.
Under the hood, you’ll find a strong-running 289 V8. While it’s not believed to be the original engine, it has been tastefully upgraded with a mild cam, headers, a four-barrel carburetor, and other subtle performance enhancements. The original 3-speed transmission has been fully rebuilt, and the factory rear differential has been completely refreshed with all-new internals.
Every part of this car has been either restored to like-new condition or replaced with high-quality new components—down to the last nut and bolt. Nothing has been overlooked.
We don’t throw around the phrase “better than new” lightly—but this is one of those rare builds that genuinely earns it. If you’re looking for a head-turning, investment-grade ’67 Fastback that drives as beautifully as it looks, this one deserves your attention.
